Visit the NCMS 7th Grade AP Math Lego Town Square at the Neshoba County Courthouse

Neshoba Central Middle School 7th grade AP Math students participated in a hands-on Lego Town Square Project designed to connect real-world learning to the Mississippi scale factor standard (7.G.1). Students visited our local town square to measure and sketch buildings, then used scale drawings and proportional reasoning to recreate the area with Legos. Through collaboration, problem-solving, and project management, students worked together to ensure each section aligned perfectly, creating a final model that was displayed for the school and community to enjoy.
