NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to Section 65-7-121 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated, the Neshoba County Board of Supervisors hereby give notice of a public hearing, to be held pursuant to a petition to abandon a portion of a public road, to be held on May 6, 2024 at 10:00 o’clock a.m., in the Board of Supervisors’ Meeting Room in the Neshoba County Courthouse, 401 E Beacon Street, Philadelphia, Mississippi, in Neshoba County, and notice is further given that the purpose of said public hearing is to decide whether or not it is in the public interest and convenience to close that portion of County Road 2206 beyond 420 feet from the intersection of County Road 109. The Board further notices that responses via email to info@neshobacounty.net or letters to Neshoba County Board of Supervisors, 401 E Beacon Street, Suite 201, Philadelphia, Mississippi 39350 will be considered as responsive during said public hearing.
