Board Issues Proclamation for Domestic Violence Awareness Month

The Neshoba County Board of Supervisors proclaimed the month of October to be Domestic Violence Awareness Month and urges all citizes to observe this month by becoming more aware of the impact of domestic violence on the community and by supporting agencies, like Care Lodge, our local domestic violence shelter located in Meridian, that provides community services and works toward breaking the cycle of abuse by meeting the needs of families struggling to break free from abuse.

Stephanie Stockton spoke on behalf of Care Lodge at the regular Board Meeting on Monday, October 15, 2018.
